Small Groups

No Lone Ranger Christians!  As everyday people we need and thrive in healthy communities.  We repeatedly read in the New Testament  “each other” and “one another.” These phrases address interpersonal relationships within a community of believers.  Each week we spend some time catching up, praying for each other  and opening the Scriptures to better understand them and how they apply to our lives.  Here you can ask questions and grow together.  No matter where we are in life, we need meaningful friendships, people we have fun with, feel safe with and make us better. At Matoaca you will find small groups for both children and adults.

We have age graded small groups on Sunday morning from the nursery through high school. Adults as well can choose between several classes of various sizes and age groups.
Some groups are more targeted to individual groups.

While no two weeks will be exactly the same we can assure you that our leaders will be prepared and ready to serve you.

Home groups are planned for the future.

Groups for Every Age

Brotherhood

The Brotherhood meets periodically during the year for fellowship and projects, and challenges each other to be godly men.

Women on Mission

Women on Mission meets monthly on Monday mornings from 10:00 to noon in the Conference Room. Our women also meet on a semester type basis – most often for 6-9 weeks based on the material. Whether it's Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer or a study one of our ladies presents, the time together is full of hope and laughter.

Youth

Students study God's Word together in Sunday School at 9:45 on Sunday mornings and at Youth Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 6:30.

Children

Children from the nursery up gather for age-appropriate Sunday School classes at 9:45 on Sunday mornings. TeamKID meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30.
